A new artisan beer was added to our menu as tasting of the month.
We chose BROTHER JACOB available as a brown ale
and a tripel. Both with an alcohol content of
7,5 % vol. Taste it when you visit us the next time.Here´s some
additional information about the beer. (in Spanish).

Meanwhile we are a few monthes busy with the
preparations to expand our terrace.
We moved the posts with pictures, and the 2 new pictures have been
delivered. Within a few weeks, they provide the extra tables and
everything will be placed permanently in place.
The two new large photographs illustrate in the first place the
quality that we want. One of them is to put even more the attention
to the quality wines we
have on our card. The another is to illustrate that we are one of
the places that serve all six "Trappists"
(the seventh, Westfleteren
is not commercially available)
We applied already some time at the municipality for a building
permit, and once obtained, we can start expanding our storage space.
We are already some time short of storage space that we try to solve
that way.
Despite the crisis, we can still count on a spectacular growth, and
that means we need more space...
We hope to get through the administrative mill and hopefully it´s
finished before the summer season.
As soon as we are one step further, I´ll change here on our website
the pictures... but you will already have been able to see it
yourself when visiting our business.

Also this year, we made a big party of it. One day before
the official anniversary, but we celebrated it a day before because
the 18th is a Sunday and also our closingday...
Just as last year, our business was too small to be able to give
everyone a place to enjoy our free drinks and snacks.
Some clients know that daily we give them the best of ourselves. We
work hard on our slogan for the best price/quality given in Albir
and surroundings.
More then once, they show their appreciation, but that day a bit
more then usual...

Today we celebrated our first anniversary...
It was a party where we can be proud of.

In other words we are already ready to celebrate our 1 year
existence on Saturday 18/07/2009…
All our visitors will receive an invitation, but when you read this
here on our site, you are of course welcome to celebrate that
evening together with us.
That evening, besides the free cocktail and the tapas of the house…
the beers of the barrel of 30 cl will be sold at 1 euro !!!!
So enjoy together with us!!!

friday 18
july 2008 our
Lounge bar have been opened officially.
After 5 weeks of hard work and reconstruction, we made from an open
shop-space
nevertheless a pleasant and modern lounge bar where it is
sociable to stay.
The climatisatie and smoke filters keeps it inside pleasant during
the hot summer months. The 240 m² terrace with several giant plants
and beautiful parasols offers you an oasis of peace.
From the start we always have some international and national
newspapers in the bar.
And everybody that wishes can make wireless connextion to the
internet for free.
